    Boces-Ken Resnick

Took Mr.Resnick's class 5 years ago and I talk with him alot . I also went to hartford and saw him at the convention. Do you know of he is gonna be teaching the gas course at Boces anytime soon ?
A friend of mine took a class he taught for home inspectors in Hicksville and was rocked by him too.

    Graduating Oil 1

I graduated from his classes last semester and we all had a ball. After taking oil 1 at Wilson Tech I signed up for oil 2 just in time because the class was already filled about three weeks after it opened for signup. Waiting for him to be the teacher of the installation course and also for Ken to teach the gas course. Any news about that ?

    oil 2

As a plant engineer for the Suffolk County Jail oil 2 was one of the bestclasses i took at western suffolk boces. I say this having completed 14 classes. Kens class was the foundation i needed for Electrical Motor Controls, Electrical 2 and RAC Trade Electric classes. They don't tell you this in the catologe. Working on high pressure steam boilers, PAC HVAC units, Pumps, Electrical Motors of all sorts and starting a side Business I find myself looking back to oil 2 and Ken teaching us the troublesooting skills that i use every day.

make sure you guys camp out at the school office because getting a seat in oil 2 is like trying to get concert tickets. Don't miss your chance to see the new and improved Resnick 2000 educational device. We were forced to carry a 4x8 sheet of plywood from ken's truck to the class room. It was a sight to behold. Now having completely redesigned The Resnick 2000 one can't quite put into words what oil 2 students will experence in class. or the pleaseure of a lighter board.

any more wilson tech grads out there?

  • Grads-Wilson Tech

Yes I just graduated from Mr. Resnick's oil burner I class at Wilson Tech Boces.

All I can say is that I miss him already. It was a pleasure and an honor to go to school on Monday nights to be in his class.
One question though, does he have stock in a paper mill or somthing ? The amount of reference material he graced us with filled a massive three ring binder and then some .
With the knowledge I received I feel confident now more than ever that I can be a really good technician and look forward to continuing my education and training in Oil II.

the bible errrr i meen the binder

take great care of your binder and if you take oil2 you will need another binder. The paperwork you get is the most important tool you will have in you box. you will find yourself running to your books for reference over and over again. Welcom to this trade of our's it is a thinking mans game. It is what makes my job at the Jail so much fun every day. I have completed over 15 courses at willson tech and i would be glad to answer any questions you may have about any of the courses.

Ken things are great. I am able to take on side jobs and i have basicly taken over all Hvac related work at the jail. two high pressure steam boilers and over 40 RTUs keep me running. I am performing all kinds of work found in a boiler room. Also i repair and overhaul The hvac package units for example in the winter i trouble shoot the gas fired units and now i am swaping out comperssors and related equipment. I do miss you guys and i would love to drop in one nite. The coffee and doughnuts are on me. your pal mike aka THE NITETIME STUDENTBODY PRESIDENT
