microprocessor energy saving control

I am thinking of installing a Intellidyne microprocessor control on my oil fired hot water boiler ,which has a indirect hot water tank, and would like to know if anyone else has used one, and is it worth the money?

Definitely worth the money. I believe they guarantee a 10% annual fuel savings. This winter is going to be a real kick in X!?~V this year -especially for the people with oil. A control like that installed on an oil boiler will almost certainly pay for itself within the 2 years if not the first year.

Intellidyne was bought by Beckett a few years ago. Its the same product.

I stand corrected . It's been several years now since Beckett came out with them. I must have heard/misinterpreted somebody along the way. I did verify though - your correct - found then on the web.

Bottom line - they work.
