Take time today to THANK a veteran. If it's a parent, make a phone call, if you work with one, go give a handshake and say "thanks". If it's a loved one who's given the ultimate sacrifice, we'll all offer a prayer of thanks.

Thank you for your post. As a military family we lost another close family friend this past year. The sacrfices of these brave men and women are simply too much to put a value on. Whether red or blue no one should pass judgement on those who simply fulfill their orders.

War is hell and not a preferred subject for some. When you walk the walk as my son and countless others have, we can at the very least pause, reflect and give thanks.

Freedom is indeed not free, we all owe sincere thanks to those who maintain our freedoms.

    With utmost respect!

    The Kontny family

Special thanks to Seaman James Ehrlich who passed April 2,2008 while serving our country.
