Keith Moon, the original drummer, died in 1979 or so. Bassist John Entwistle died a couple years or so ago. Not sure who's taking their places on this tour.

I saw them last year, GREAT SHOW. My son's first concert. I don't remember the bassists name, very capable. Zack Starkey plays drums and he is phenomenal. Pete Townsends brother plays too (guitar) and he's great.

I can't wait to see what the Mohegans want for tickets. I'll tell you what, I just caught a documentary on them including Moon, "Quick Ones", and I never was a major Who fan but after seeing that I just have to say them guys are (were) incredible. I may have to try and make that Sun Arena one.

Because people will spend the money. That, and with record sales down so much, this is a good way for the bands to make money.

The prices look like the Eagles prices: $75 for the "cheap" seats, $175 for the best. The problem with Mohegan is they hold a lot of seats for their frequent gamblers. Unless you are in the fan club and get in early, you may not get good seats, maybe not even then.

I'd actually rather go to New Jersey (did I just say that?)

..it's not my call...but who else could do it more justice than Bill Sheehan. He's been involved in some other stuff ( non musical ) since I've been a real fan . But the fact remains...he is the last great rock bass player ( and borrowed alot from Entwhistle ). His " tone " just belongs there ( not the two - handed stuff , the low notes is what's on my mind ).

Saw Tommy at the Colonial in Boston saw them live outside at Great woods. i like Mohegan over the new gahden as the new gahden just aint the same i mean it has freakin air conditioning can you believe it? i bet Scotty Milne was at the gahden in 74 when da Stones got arrested down in Providence and mayor White had to come out and calm everybody down. Scotty could afford the ticks in 74 with his senior discount.....

Sorry they aren't coming to your town but remember you guys could always move here Boston and it's burbs are the greatest city in america not that scottty and i are biased or anything.

I always thought it was called child endangerment. No more Who for me. Daltry is either a very good friend or very desperate for money. Townsend belongs in jail. Didn't he snort his fathers ashes after he violated children? Who'd pay to see this guy? The word CREEP comes to mind.

I don't like that there was any reason to accuse Pete of those charges, but I think if he had any significant involvement in such a serious offense, there would've been a better effort by the authorities to actually charge him, which they never did. We don't all know the details.

Tommyoil, it was Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones that sniffed his father's ashes, or said he did and then later recanted. All these guys are full of **** anyway.

On a lighter note, I did some "research" during the Miss Universe pageant the other night. Anyone see that?
