    Duoble bubble trouble

Was it you my good man, who did a real world test on various types of under slab insulation? If so do you have the results of it posted in the archives here?

Needless to say I'm talking with a guy who claims...........well, you know where I'm going with this.

    Thanks

Your friend in the pursuit of hydronic perfection.

    canadian study

I would like to see a real world contractor test also, I have yet to do one myself. I attatched a pdf for a canadian study that was done. perhaps it will help. It's a tough fight. There is so many opinions on the benefits of r-value and/or thermal breaks under slab. I know the two houses I did without proper insulation were the most dificult to control and the heating bills were significantly higher than any other of my houses.

ME will answer for himself but Yes, I remember his study.

As I remeber he used five or six different materials and used the Hobo sensors.
