Primary Secondary Piping

if you did it the other way, it would induce flow in the secondary loop when the secondary pump wasn't running. Not good.

    Primary Secondary Piping question

Should the piping for the secondary loop be taken off the primary loop from the bullheads? Or does it matter if you come off the ends of the tees? Thanks

Thanks. We're piping several boilers in a condo complex. One of the crews piped off the ends of the tees. Should we change it? Or go on to the nest one? Also I have all of Dan's books. Does he specify this somewhere? Thanks

    What are you

heating with the boiler? Indirect, two temp. system? Maybe I am not seeing this correctly, but if you are creating a low pressure drop between pri and sec (closely spaced tees) not sure if it matters whether you use the bull heads for your pri loop or your sec loop. The key is to hydraulically seperate the two. Again maybe I'm not seeing it right. Could you describe the system piping a bit more?

We are heating apartments with wall type radiators (possibly Myson brand). 3 to 7 rads per apartment, piped off a manifold (home run system). The boilers are Trinity Combis. They require thr primary secondary loops.
