HELP! with Steamview steel radiators....compatibility question??

I've heard good things about these radiators and they've been around for a number of years. I don't think you'll have any problems.

Help with Steamview steel radiators...compatibility issues???

We have a single pipe steam heat system in our 3-family house (one heating zone). My husband wants to purchase modern steel radiators from www.steamradiators.com (model:steamview) These radiators are approx. 2"in depth and hang on the wall as compared to the old cast iron ones that are 12"deep. He already had a plumber size out the new radiators and change all the valves (before our new floor went in). Now I am worried that the steel radiators (that heat up much more quickly - and cool off more quickly) will cause compatibility issues with the cast iron raidiators on the second floor of our house (tenants apartments). I spoke with an engineer at wwww.steamradiators.com but he wasn't sure if it will cause problems. -- Has anyone installed these radiators? Do you think our tenants will be too hot this winter (on the 2nd floor) and we will be cold (1st floor?) Any help would be appreciated. - Amy

I have installed several with no issues. Great product and properly sized you should have no problems. they do cool off quicker but really deliver the heat.
