Or a solar blanket to minimize evaporation. That's the greatest single heat loss in a pool.

Hi all,
I had a customer ask me this question and I'm wondering what other's opinions are. She is wondering if she is better off, efficiency-wise, running her pool heater at all times vs. turning it off for 3-4 days when not in use, then running it when she needs it...
Any thoughts/opinions?

Definately would save money but can she heat up in time
Depending on the size of pool, it may take too long to reheat. Spur of the moment swims are out except for cold ones. Would need to plan useage around heat up time.0 -
suggest solar heater
then she can run it all the time for no extra cost.0
