Underfloor heating, radiant tubes

It depends.....is the space below heated? If not, at least R19 is recommended. Less is needed for heated space. Fiberglass batt insulation works fine. Check with the manufacturer of tubing as to whether or not you need an air gap under the tubing

    Underfloor heating, radiant tubes

I am installing radiant tubes, underfloor. Does any one know what kind of insulation I should use between the floor joists? There is room for R-38 (fiberglass). Do we use fiberglass, pink board, or reflective? Thanks! Howard
