Gas or Oil?
Steamhead (in transit)

if you have a good boiler, it'll heat quickly on gas too. We like the Smith G-8 series, which can burn either gas or oil and works well on either. Plus it's more efficient than an atmospheric gas boiler.

Gas vs Oil
With a steam system is it better to stick with oil which I have now, or go to gas?
I am wondering how much longer it would take a boiler to heat up for steam. I know oil is much hotter and quicker.
Thanks for your thoughts.........0
