I just got a post card

from my oldest daughter who is backpacking through Europe. She spent last week in Iceland where, she reports, the street of the city have pipes in them for snowmelt from the hot springs that abound in that country. She's been going to the public lagoons for a hot soak every day. She sez they also pump hot water out to the sea so it's warm enough to swim in. Seems they have enough hot water to spare. Now if everyone in Iceland doesnt have radiant floors I'll be twisted into a pretzel. WW

We can not blame the Icelandian for global warming. they are melting the ice in ice land. Good now I can get a hummer and feel clear minded. (a wee bit of sarcasm there btw)
