Bo Diddley passed away today from a heart attack at his home. He had suffered a stroke last year.

He is arguably the father of Rock and Roll. Though blues was his thing, his beat and song style became the basis for Rock and Roll in the 50's. He had some success with his own recordings, but his real success was from the hundreds of musicians and groups that covered his songs.
