what is the name of the foil type used where sections meet?
Seems to me that duct tape might be a fire hazard given the contractor started way down a little bit inside duct goes just inside dryer. Also for some reason, even though he measured, he installed 3-4 short sections up the basement wall. Instead of using one straight-away or a cheaper ribbed a corregated foil kit. Looks ridiculous as well.
Hard to always do quality control in my mother's house which I take care of, but this was a strangely put together job.
Thanks,

Tape
For some reason the Alum. tape never stciks for any length of time. Tends to peel off by itself. God forbid, but if the dryer gets hot enough to start Duct tape on fire there will probably be something else burning also.
As far as the 3 pieces, much better job than the flexible stuff.0
