Condensing oil mestek ray or peerless pinacle I havent installed any but any thing that condenses is direct vented not into a chimeney ?

    Propane verses oil heat

    Hi all.
    I need to replace my old oil boiler. I am contemplating going with propane. I use it with my oven now. I will be using Co. tanks so the only cost will be to run some piping in cellar & some outside, I was told by the propane co. I could do the work. However the boiler will be about $600.00 more than the oil boiler, they are both low mass & condensing. My question is should I stay oil or go propane? Also if I stay oil I will have to put in a chimney liner an additional $2000.00 more. Any help would be great. Thank you Mike
