Ross Steel Boiler

Member Posts: 1
I have a customer who wants to convert from her existing oil boiler that was originally a coal boiler. She wants to go to gas for a number of valid reasons. My question is does this boiler have asbestos inside of it? it is a Ross Steel Boiler with the markings Frost, Dailesburg, Ill on it. Does anyone know?

If it was originally coal-fired
it almost certainly has asbestos in or on it somewhere. It's also probably not very efficient. Is this a steam or hot-water system?
