Triangle Tube Mini Smart

Has anyone tried using the triangle tube mini smart on ant thing other than a prestige? Maybe with a cast boiler?

    It wouldn't do it on a high mass boiler unless it's a hot boiler.

    The Mini-Smart is dependent on the boiler being able to heat up within a very short period of time.

    Like keeping the boiler at a constant temp? Have you had problems getting all the air out on the boiler side on start up?

    Ya like a constant temp. Kind of an energy waster though...

    A typical cast iron sectional will take 2-5 minutes to come up to temp. A Prestige Solo 110 takes less than a minute to get to full fire. If it takes any longer it's too late.

    Also you will need to control it. You will need an aquastat that has a bulb that will fit the Mini-Smart.
