The 1" outlet may be a hard one to find, I know that State makes on (ES6 6 SOMS) but this unit only has a 3/4" outlet.

ELECTRIC WATER HEATER
Anyone know if there is a electric water heater on the market 10 or 15 or 20 gallon model with a 1" inlet and outlet?0 -
Just put
1"x3/4" cma and you'll be fine. Trying to imagine the application, though.

sure, if
you remove the elements! If not a couple bell reducers would provide 1" connections.
Bock has some insulated storage tanks, 20 gallon with 1" connections.

Hi
The job is going to have two NORITZ N0751M or two N0931M tankless gas water heaters tied together and then dump them into a 10 or 15 or 20 gallon electric water heater then go to the house fixtuers and then run a 1/2" return line back to the electric water heater where there will be a GRUNDFOS domestic hot water recirculation pump on the small electric water heater this way when using a recirculation pump on tankless gas water heaters I will not be recirculating the water through the tankless units. I know with noritz units if you recirculate thorugh their tankless water heater the warranty on the heat exchanger goes from 10 years down to 3 years and I want the home owner to keep the 10 year warranty on the heat exchanger and all the samll electric water heaters are tapped with 3/4" and when installing two noritz units together noritz wants them piped with 1" and I was told that the 3/4" tappings on the electric water heater will reduce the flow from both Noritz units when both are running at the same time.

parallel?
whats the volume of your hot water lines?
I might think of an ele tank 2-3X pipe volume.
I would think about piping the ele tanks in parallel very close to the output of the on-demands. do not see the need for series connections. make it act more like an expansion tank with the recirc line on its supply.0
