We loved our time with you too. And I would love to catch a game with you sometime.
I have worked in many of those old houses you drove past. Yes, they were built in the 20's and 30's.

Many of you met my son, Tyler, at Wetstock yesterday. He is mentally impaired and I take him to work with me often as well as events like this when I can. He is my best buddy.
I wanted to thank you all for your patience and acceptance of him. It meant a lot to both of us and we had a wonderful time. I wanted to send a special thank you to a few of you.
Ken Wickre, thanks so much for the great conversation and the tee shirt that Tyler "won".
Tim Lindstom, Chuck Shaw, and the rest at the bar Friday night for making us feel welcome.
Carol and Pat for allowing Ty to pet the dog.
Ellen. I don't think you had any idea who Tyler was when he was making a big deal about the tee shirt, but you were so gracious and allowed him to have his fun.
Tim and Joan. What can I say. I feel like I have 2 new best friends.
To Bo, Eric, Heatmeister, and the rest of the crew who went to Joe's for dinner. Thanks so much.
I can't name you all, but to everyone for making the entire event a place for all of us to build such a great fellowship of wetheads.
And especially to Dan and Marianne for inviting Ty, recognizing his enthusiasm, and helping to create such a safe space for something like this to happen. I thank you for you kindness.
Oh ya, one more thing. Go Rockies!

I think we are all better off for having met you both, Dave. It would be great to be able to find such joy in the smaller things that just pass most of us by. If my Tigers come to town, maybe we can catch a game together. That is a very nice area you sent us to, and it must be great to see the insides of those great homes...most appear to be 20's - 30's? Again, please give Tyler our best and let him know we really enjoyed our time with you both.

Good to meet you too, Dave. Sorry we did not have time to chat more. It looks like you discovered the light rail while you were here.

Dave,
Tyler is a joy. He makes me really see things. Thanks, as always, for making him a big part of our gatherings. I love his enthusiasm. GO ROCKIES!!!!Retired and loving it.0 -
Thank you for your hospitality as well
This was not only my first Wetstock, but my first time (other than passing through the airport) that I spent any time in Denver. I want to come back and do some site seeing and maybe we can go to a Rockies/Twins game. Hey, Tyler - GO TWINS! ... It was nice to meet the two of you, and be sure to see my post to Steamhead - as a collector of old heating books, you will appreciate what I want to share with Steamhead. Thanks again!0 -
It was a pleasure
meeting you and Tyler. It was a great day to meet people that I had only corresponded with previous. My extended family became that much larger on Saturday.

Mr. Stroman
I have had the pleasure of knowing you personally for years. But I really felt privileged when I met your son and thoroughly enjoyed being in his presence.
I greatly appreciated my numerous conversations with fellow Wallies at Wetstock. Thank you for holding it in our backyard and to all who attended.
GO ROCKIES!!

Great to see both of you!
Dave, It is always great to see you and Tyler at any function. Tyler is a very special young man and he really lights up the room. Dave, with your permission, I'd like to post a picture I took of Tyler at Wetstock 2008 on the Wall. Let me know, Tim0 -
Yes, of course! Ty would get a kick out of it.

Dave,
Although I didn't get to meet you or Tyler personally, his infectious joy, especially for the things we may take for granted, like the lick of a dog, or a piece of Pex magically made into a hoop, should make us all remove our jaded blinders and enjoy life as much as he does.
I look forward to seeing him again, and meeting him personally...

You may not remember me, but I remember meeting you and Tyler.
Tyler has THE MOST contagious smile I have ever encountered.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to meet such a fine, young man.
