At the top of the furnace heat exchanger plenum there is a temperature operated fan switch which has a "on" mode. Its a little plastic knob that you push or pull for always on or just automatic plenum temperature control. Check if that is the problem.

    Lennox Furnace question

    I have a Lennox Elite Series furnace that is about 11 years old. The problem I have is that once the house gets to the set temp and the burner turns off, the blower keeps going and does not shut off. Then when the temp drops the burner does not come on but the fan is still going. I checked the stat and it is set to auto fan not just on. Any ideas as to the problem?

    Tim How do you get the burner to come back on? What type of contol operates the blower? Is it a direct drive, or belt driven blower? todd
