HVACTV Live will be webcast this coming Tuesday, April 29th, at 8:PM EDT. This month starts some new series that are educational, useful, and will take us into some entirely new areas.
The first segment this month is the start of a new series from John Williams of Carrier on commercial cooling. This is an introduction to large scale air conditioning and cooling, something we've wanted to cover for a long time, but just haven't had the right combination of time, talent, and opportunity. John will take us through the basics of the technology of direct expansion systems and chilling towers, and the systems built around them. This should be a great series and just in time for the summer season! Even if A/C is not your thing, this series will give you enough of the basics to be able to discuss these systems on a jobsite intelligently.
Next up is the beginning of a new series on radiant systems from Dave Sweet of Taco, Inc. Dave will cover different methods of controlling and tempering radiant systems, including outdoor reset. This series will give you the knowledge to pick the right components for your next radiant project to ensure customer satisfaction.
Our third segment for April is the continuation of Ellen Rohr's series on the business of running your business more profitably. Ellen's insights will have you looking at your own practices more carefully with an eye to maximizing the bottom line. Plus, she's always a hoot as well!
