I think you mean Navien
Once they get their approvals they will be the one to beat!

FYI: they are Korean and will be priced around the TK3 with circ included, Nice!0 -
I spoke to the sales manager this AM. He will be in Upstate NY and promises to call me with some pricing and wholesaler details.0 -
Yes he will and I know who the first Rep and distributor will be. (Not in NYC area)0 -
I don't know where you heard your pricing
but they are more than a TK3, though a better unit, and the only ones with a circ are the ones with a little storage tank to help get rid of the .5 gallon required to start it up.

Yes that would be the "A" model with circ/0 flow to activate/easy recirc capabilities
Pittsburg pays more in their market?
You as a reseller are not quantity in your wholesalers eyes?
I'm talking distributor cost, many units shipped
What you pay (too much)is an issue of yours.0 -
I am a distributor, buying from a wholesaler. Their smallest unit without the recirc pump is about the same price a TK -3 but is limited to 140 degrees. If you want 180 you have to go to the commercial model.
They are a nice unit and I plan on selling a few for sure.

Have one in sest phase
I am currently testing a Navien 240 199MBH unit right now
the recirc system works great on the unit , but has a small glitch in the system when under low flow aplications and in recirc , once it sees an increase in flow it will come up to temprature and stay there quite well , although its a little slower to modulate than the Rinnai it has really low exaust temp 2F lower than the incoming air on the exahust with a 34F water temp in and 120 out to a sink with a 3/4 pex line right to the sink.0 -

I put in there "Heating Box" and spent a lot of time with there national sales manager in the fall of 2006. I was all ready to be there sales rep for Wisconsin and Minnesota until I found out they did not have state approval and proper listings. The engineer/principal of Navien was an engineer for Takagi for years. I was informed in 2006 that they were about to release the condensing unit in 2007. I believe they showed it in Dallas in January of 2007 at the AHR show. At that time they had not had as much interest as they do now. They are as stated above leading the pack with this design.
As with all new concepts the test is in the field. My concern is how the combustion by products react with whatever metal they use before the condensate drain. I have been busy with my new job but will call Navien tomorrow to talk to the designer about this. I will keep you all posted.0
