I'm upgrading from a old oil-fired 1936 Americn Radiator Steam Boiler and a Electric Water Heater. After talking to several Contractors and feed back from different sources.
I have selected a oil-fired Smith Series-8(Model 8s3H)Steam Boiler, 83.4% AFUE,has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. With a SuperStor Ultra (SSU-45) Indirect Water Heater.
Can some of you experts comment on this hook up.
Thank You,Paul

    plan ahead

Install with strict adherence to factory piping diagrams & specs. consider drop header. discuss details with contractor before start of project. should go smooth as silk. note any existing defects in system before starting work. evaluate existing return system. might be good time to replace. good luck
