I am piping a new tub faucet. it comes down within about 5 feet of my superstor. Would it be kosher to get my supply cold/hot from the input and the output of the superstor? Something in the back of my mind says maybe I shouldn't for some strange supply/demand issue. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Just watch out
for some backfeed of hot water through the cold pipe if it's teed close to the Superstor . That happens from time to time and we use a simple flap check on the cold pipe of the heater to fix that problem .0 -
heat sink
piping arrangement provide 27 " thermal loop heat sink in lieu of check valve. problem solved0
