Just the brain power alone ( combined ) in some of these pics is just awesome. Codes , standards and LAWS should come from meetings with the people in those photos. -M

It started in the bar, as usual.......
From left: Tim Lindstrom, Ken Wickre, Dan and The Lovely Marianne Holohan, Mike Thies, Chuck Shaw. Behind Chuck is a surveillance system rep whose name I didn't get.
They insisted on another photo, with me in it, can't imagine why....
Watch this thread for more. If anyone else at Wetstock is taking pics, feel free to post them here.

Keep the photos coming Frank. I'll be there in spirit.Had the airlines been able to get me there on short notice....I was considering taking Jeff's ticket yesterday. Last minute gets a bit tough on the wallet.
Enjoy one and all. Chris0 -

006s- Mark Hunt talks about the Wilo Brain Box demonstration console.
Chris, haven't seen Scott yet......

Der Heatmeister's in town, oh-oh
with his boiler trailer. From left: Baxi mod-con, Viessmann Vitodens 200, Richard der Heatmeister himself, Triangle Tube Prestige. To the right are a towel warmer and a panel radiator, and there is radiant in the floor. This setup can also be used as a temporary heat source while a boiler is being replaced.
Nice job, Richard!

Nice to see....
That Mark got his "small" Brain Box back. He showed up at our shop with a new model, and it was considerably larger....3 guys to get it up the stairs, and the patented Milne P&H flow through floor provided a bit of entertainment to boot!
Scott said something about a lay over in Vegas....maybe he lost his shirt???? I hope to hear that he's made it safe and sound before nights end.
Keep em' coming Steamhead. We're all waiting for the "Memories". (Any photo's of someone losing lunch scores big points...and gives you bragging rights...exclusively!) Chris0 -
Scott made it
and thankfully he still had his shirt on ;-)

Grown men don't cry in public....
They WEEP openly, as you can see. I am still in shock.
Bad timing eh... I take this weekend to announce that I am no longer going to be a wet head, and that I've become a radiant watt head, and the hydronic world bestows me with one of the highest achievements a wet head could ever have. The very first Gil Carlson hand made System Syzer wheel.
What an honor and priviledge.
I want to thank EVERYONE who made this possible, especially The Bean, who came in for just a brief appearance to make the delivery, and Dave Yates, who also came in just for this special event, and Dan Holohan for getting this ball started rolling in the first place. I owe you all a great deal of gratitude and am humbled and honored to carry the torch forward. I will guard the box with all my might, and continue the path of education and sharing of Gils knowledge base.
Friday night, I'm sitting at the bar, talking with Dave Yates, and tell him that I am leaving the wet side of the industry, and he say "Oh oh, that's going to create a dilema...' Huh? I'm not leaving the face of this planet, I'm chust changing methods of making people comfortable. What kind of dilemma could THAT create?
I now understand your words of wisdom Dave.
You guys (and Gals:-)) are THE best.
Upward and onward.
ME0 -
I am sure that you will still...
be able to bestow any large quantity of "WET" information to newcomers to the industry such as myself! I look forward to meeting you someday and checking out the radiant windows.
Good Luck,
Rob blair0 -
Your right Mark
and as soon as you grown up let me know and I'll try and follow suit.
AS I told you, while listening to Dave give the announcement, I said to myself Mark Eatherton " just as Dave said your name. It was such an obvious choice !!! Mark you have done So Much for this industry Thanks for ALL you do.
I don't see it as you leaving the industry, I see you leading us in a new direction. Keep on Keeping on Big Guy!!

019s
Yeah, who is that greasy red-headed **** from Butte??? I guess it could be me, but I was sure I was a lot better looking than that. ;-)
It was great to meet you, Frank, as well as Tim, Maryann, Bob and Nancy.0 -
Congratulations Mark E.
The honor is in the right hands.
One thing for sure...you'll always be a wethead! Like HR said, switch gears....but you'll be around . Holding this honor of honors, guarantees it. You'll HAVE to be at the next one to "pass the Torch".
Well deserved ME. Keep the wheel well! Chris0 -
