Any experience with Intellicon Economizers?

    Intellicon Economizer

    Had a service call last evening and unit had a new Intellicon Economizer installed. Customer said, installer claims up to 20% savings in gas bill and no loss of comfort?

    anyone have any practical experience with this device? does really work? If so, what are the negatives?

    the company only claims 10%

    and my guess is that it's similar to some of the smart stats that monitor the environment on an every 30sec basis, with claims of a 20% savings, but that's in a
    'perfect' lab house. intellicon's appear to have a data logging capability for a long range assessment of the environment, and accordingly match the operation of the equipment

    sold by Beckett as the HeatManager.I've installed many with no complaints.I've never had anyone tell me they'd saved 20 % but many in the 10-15 % range
