Dave,

Great talking with you at Wet Stock. Had to laugh about your being from Parnases. In the 28 years that I have been out of Pittsburgh area you are the 1st that has been (or at least admitted) being from there..... small world. You may remember the J&R bar. Now the Blind Pig..... used to be last stop up the hill.

My Dad used to play in Polka bands (played bass) in and around that valley for years. Thank God still have both parents. We went to school there when New Ken's school was being rebuilt.

Anyway didn't know how to contact other than through "the wall" .... drop a line.

That last night

was a real hoot. Too bad the other "old farts" turned in so early, but hanging out with you younger turks was lots of fun. I'm pretty sure we could have taken those hecklers from the open-system table by the bar!

My great-great-grandfather had a hardware store and lumber yard in Parnasus. We have his dining room table, which I had restored years ago. He's buried in the graveyard where they filmed "Night of the Living Dead".

Think Greensburg is where your talking about if memory serves. I will ask my dad about hardware store. He was born in arnold, pa 1919. Still getting around at a youg 89.
