    not heating, steam washing machines..

    Any one out there purchase, use or have any feed back on these steam washing machines. Seem's like a good idea and would consider one when our old washer crap's out. Thank's

    steam washer

    I have an LG steam washing machine. It was one of the front loading machines rated very well by Consumer Reports. It is saving me on average $15 a month on my electric bill because it spins the clothes so dry that the dryer doesn't have to run as long as it did when I used the old washer. The steam function is nice and it makes the clothes smell so good and it's especially good for those colored towels you can't use bleach on. Those were the colored towels that never quit seem to smell as good as the white ones did when I had the old washing machine. It's a nice function to have but it's not necessary for getting your cloths clean.

    I forgot to mention it saves you money on your water bill too if you have one. I think for the savings in electricity and water along this washer is worth it.
