Although I did not get a chance to shake hands with everyone I would have liked to, I really want to express my sincere thanks for all the great booths and people at Wetstock 08! Dan, you are a true gentleman and I really do appreciate the efforts and time you have put into Heating Help as well as Wetstock...It was really a pleasure to finally meet you and I appreciate your time and dedication to this site and all of us who lurk here. Mark Eatherton, that's an incredible thing you have there and I wish you all the best. Mark Hunt, thanks for all you do to alert us about CO and I really liked your Wilo display. Wayco Wayne you are a real great guy and I am glad you stopped to say hi. For everyone reading this, he DOES NOT live in Texas! Dave Stroman, I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed meeting you. That rad will always live with the dining room rad, and please say hello to Tyler for Joan and I...He's a really great guy! Your map was right on and we really loved downtown Denver! We could actually live there. Steamhead, it was a pleasure to meet you and thanks for documenting this great event. Brad White, keep your chin up...keep trying and you will get that TV eventually! It was a pleasure to meet you and hang out for a few. I am glad your ancestors forgot the sheep! If things slow down as an engineer, you can now fake your way through isotope chemistry! Congratulations again and all the best to you and yours!

Again to all, you are great folk and I will always consider you friends.

Sorry we didn't meet, tried to see everyone I could think of.
Dave, really nice meeting you and that ball of energy son of yours. I got a kick out of his excitement to see heatmiester's trailer.

  • What a GREAT bunch of people...

I have to say, that out of all the different functions that I have had the honor of attending over the years, that this group of people represents the BEST of the BEST.

So many people, so little time. I know I probably met a lot of people without knowing who it was I was seeing or meeting, and I appologize for not having more time to spend with each and every individual there. You are ALL worth the time to spend talking with. And that Pompetti group, man what a blessing they are to humanity. Big Jim, Jamie, his beautiful wife and his fantastic mom. His mom is the second best mother on the face of the planet. Only my mom was better, and unfortunately, she succumed to cancer, which Janice is fighting for.

The biggest regret I have is that I didn't get the opportunity to meet Andrew Hagen face to face. And who knows, I probably did an didn't know it. ;-(

Thansk to everyone who attened, and thank you fo rmaking it the BEST weekend of my life.

    What an extraordinary....

    you name it, Tim-

Sorry I did not get to hang out more with you but you cannot say that Joan and I did not hit it off! Indeed, she is a gem- and absolutely brilliant. I learned a lot!

I just got my tired, poor, huddled @ss-es home, with apologies to Emma Lazarus. Off to bed with sweet dreams in my head. More recounting later. Man, I met so many of my idols... I will pinch myself- tomorrow...

    A great Thank You

to Dan and CO for making this possible and allowing me to take part in the event. Thanks to all of the many old and new friends at the "party" And thanks to Wayco Wayne and his wife for a much shorter trip from Baltimore to Denver because of their company. And to Steamhead and Dave Yates for the same comraderie on the trip back. I had a great weekend and saw a lot of new technologies that Jerry would have loved to try out I'm sure. Again thanks to all and to the Pompetti clan Walk Tall and I will be thinking of you the whole 60 miles. Ruthe

    A fine gathering

    it was.

200 folks to meet and greet in only 240 minutes! I didn't get to say hey to everyone.

Guess we will have to do it again soon.

    We had a ball!

Thanks to everyone for all the good vibes, and thanks to our sponsors for making it possible (Rehau, Wilo, Viessmann, Taco, and Ferguson). We raised nearly $15,000 for breast cancer research and had a blast doing it. Thanks.

Plans are to do it again in 2010.
    Retired and loving it.

    Mark!

I missed you, Mark. Although, I did get the opportunity to stand in front of the radiant window. That thing emits an impressive amount of heat.

Congratulations on having Gil's Wheel passed to you. I can't think of a more fitting person to carry it forward.

    My pleasure, of course

to meet you Tim, and your lovely wife. Wish I'd had more time to spend getting to know you guys. We just got home last night after tearing around Colorado trying to see everything. I actually got pulled over for speeding Southwest of Boulder. Still a bit high from all the good vibes at Woodstock I was a little glib with the nice police officer, and told him, "Sorry for speeding. I only have 2 days to see all of Colorado." Ack! He was very professional and checked all my info and advised me with a small wry smile, to enjoy Colorado at a safer pace. He then let us go with a warning. Whew! What a special time we had. Thanks everyone. WW
