Pigtail going wrong way on new boiler

Greetings,
I am in the process of replacing my old boiler system even though it is only 45 years old. I have one-pipe steam. One of the boilers I am looking at is the Dunkirk Empire Steam II. I was looking at a picture from their website and noticed that the pigtail is facing toward the front of the boiler instead of the way it should. Does anyone have any idea what that means?
Thanks,
Roland

pigtail
The orientation of the pigtail was important when mercury tube pressure controls were commonly used. As the pigtail heats it can move a little which could cause the mercury tube to make and break, leading to burner short cycling.0
