Bookmarks

...menu, then "internet options." Under the "general" tab, then "Browsing history - settings" button. Then, "view files"

A real pain in the butt. Interestingly, if you try to browse your hard drive, the "temporary internet files" directory in that file string does not show up!!!

Vista is virus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    bookmarks

Awhile back there was a thread regarding the loss of bookmarked topics. I have the opposite issue. Bookmarked threads keep appearing on my screen. I delete them aand later some different ones show up going back to last year.

I unbookmarked about 20 yesterday and this morning there were 2 new ones. I unbookmarked them and the same ones came back. Any way to disable bookmarks?

    Try this.

Delete the cookie from your PC that's called forums.invision. net. Then clear your PCs cache and logon again. All the bookmarks should be gone.

    Along this topic,

Does anyone know where Windows stores cookies in the Vista operating system? I have searched my hard drive, but cannot find them.

    Nope.

Not there, as far as I can tell.

I'll keep searching, and report back if I find my cookies!
