and find out exactly what's making the noise; a very fast tapping or a grrrr/blades or bearings?

I have a fuel oil Energy Kinetics System 2000 home heating system. It has a fan to assist in moving exhaust. The system is about 7 years old. The fan is making a lot of noise, as if the blades are hitting the fan housing. This has been going on for several months now.
I want to shop around for a fan and replace it myself. What is the fan called? Is there a rebuild kit, or do you have to buy the entire unit? Ballpark figure on cost?

that is a power vent somewhere on it is a manufacterers label that list model and serial no do not believe you can replace the motor alone more then likely you will be replacing the whole thing0 -
We have electric motor shops here that will repair that motor. You may have one, too.
