    Saturday Store Hours

Peabody Supply informed me that they are closed on saturdays as of last saturday but plan to open again with the cold weather in the fall.

thanks. I wound up at Murray's in Medford. Had to make a pilot supply tube for a slant fin boiler.

I cannot understand why one supply shop is not open on Sats and Sundays EVEN if it costs more on those days to purchase things. The more high tech heating systems become the more important it is to be able to keep them running is very cold weather. From what I have seen things only break when ya want to use them.

    Salem Plumbing Supply

In Beverly Mass is open every Sat. Good customers can get parts anytime of the day or night.

    parts after biz hours

Do you have any friends in the trade?
I have been called at home by other HVAC guys looking for a Do-Hinky or a watcha-macallit. Here its quite simple if its on my truck you can come get it. I expect it back on MONDAY or when the supply house receives its shipment. And it goes both ways. I went to a neighborhood one time that had gotten a flash flood. All the oil burners needed to be repaired. Since I was there they asked me.It was like a flood relief effort. I called a friend in the biz to bring in extra burner motors and come in to the area as well.
Between the two of us we swapped parts all day and did about 14 calls between the two of us.
and as Kenny Rdgers said there was time enough for counting when the dealing was done. We both made out very well that weekend. Had it not been for the Buddy I called I might have only been able to do 1/2 the calls I did let alone the calls he got as well. People liked the way the two companies worked together for their community.
There is a rule though, you come get the part at my house, If I have to put the key in the ignition, you pay a service call for the delivery.
