Bronx Guy with Silly (?) question about Oil Burner--
Was wondering if there were any Oil Burner Installers who could give a complete amateur some advice?
The flue pipe on my Weil Mclain Oil Burner fell apart and was put back together by an emergency technician a few weeks ago. Recently I looked at it and noticed that on the The Barometric Draft Damper, the 'weighted' section of the round swinging metal door is on the bottom, but I could have sworn it use to be on the top.
I guess my question is where is the weighted part of the door on a Barometric Draft Damper for an oil burner supposed to be? And if it is "upside down" is that dangerous?
Thank you!0 -
Is there writing on the swinging part that is right side up?0
