hello -
i'm sure this question has been asked many a time on this board, but can someone tell me the best way to clean a radiator valve? i've seen the plumber blow into it to clear it. but is there anything else that needs or can be done, if that doesn't help? i'm trying to clear some Gorton valves.
thanks much,
janet v.

vinagar or tub / shower cleaner that eats hard water deposits works well. a basic test I do is blow through it. it should blow through steadily, and if you turn it upside down, it should seal while blowing through it.
