Ice melt layout for stairs

We did a job like this at a local college about 6 years ago. It's a patio area outside of the entry doors, then about 15 steps, approximately 10 feet wide, a landing and that pattern repeats several times as you travel down. We installed barrier pex, no aluminum, not sure if it was available yet, and ran parallel with the step width, several passes per tread then down to the next step, tying off to the rerod as we went. It's powered by 3 GV-6 boilers and works like a champ.

and bend it to match the stairs rise and run. the hardest part is fastening it to SOMETHING to hold it in place during the pour. Tie wire to strips works but does get in the finishers way.
