I ask this question every few months in hopes that someone in the profession might come up with something.
I am looking for a safe retrofit gas valve/thermostat that is more sophisticated than the standard White Rogers or Robertshaw used on almost all run of the mill domestic water heaters. Any ideas?Q
Secondly, I find a Honeywell in use on a Sears Kenmore:

made by American (AO Smith) but can find absolutely nothing on the tank or control. Anybody know?
