    electric hand truck

    has any one used a power mate #m-1 electic stair climbing hand truck .should i buy it .these boilers are not getting any lighter (3 pass)and im not getting any younger.

    We usually rent them and it sure beats trying to HUMP them down and up by hand or _SS power :)

    We have 2 Powermates

    They work fantastic , as long as you have plenty of room to maneuver the boiler around tight areas . The 2 we have came with just one handhold at the top , which makes handling the truck kinda difficult . Someone said they have a few options to add more handholds .

    power hand truck

    i bought power hand truck about 4 yrs. ago.I'm just one
    man shop & sometimes a helper .The power handtruck was
    may-be the best tool a bought.They are worth every penny.

    PS batterys go bad every 2 yrs.

    Jerry had a power handtruck and it was a back saver for sure. even used it one time to unwedge an oiltank that was stuck in a stairwell. Worth every penny if it saves injury just 1 time. Ruthe
