domestic hot water

i'm putting a new standard boiler from keyspan that will be heating my house in two ways. mainly by a heating coil in an airhandler for forced hot air and the boiler will also supply a limited amount of baseboard too. (you might remember my questions about btu's last week) now the question will be how to supply domestic hot water. should i do a stand alone gas hot water tank or should i consider and indirect system with a storage tank. if so do i need to increase the boiler size (btu's) or just have the installer priortize the domestic hot water over heating. any thoughts about this or about the differences in efficiency and costs.upfront costs are just as much an issue as future savings.

Gary, I would go with the in-direct which is a heater and tank in one, ran as another zone from boiler. The boiler will love this type of set-up (they like being warm year round)Priority is the way to go too. John0
