Towel warmer with Steam Heat?

I would treat the towel warmer as a separate from the room heat. When covered with towels, the towel warmer will not provide much heat to the room. Possibly you could leave the existing radiator and install an electric towel warmer on a timer.

Steam Heat
Is it possible to remove a recessed radiator in a bethroom and install a towel warmer in its place. Do they make towel warmers that can be connected to a steam system?

Use
a free-standing radiator 38-inches tall. These make great "towel warmers"- ask me how I know!
