I met a young lady (fellow service technician) a couple years ago her name is Hilary Maguire one thing I remember most about Hilary was her passion for our industry and the service we provide.

I heard from Hilary today and she was telling me about something else she’s very passionate about. Hilary and her nephew Ryan have decided to shave their heads.

Here are a few words from Hilary;

Well my friends, the time has come! I will not be the only one shaving my head bald to raise money for St. Baldrick's, oh no, I've started a team- TEAM MAGUIRE and my nephew/ partner in crime, Ryan, will be joining me too!!!!! We decided on a fund raising goal of $2,000!!!!! Major kudos to you Ry, for such as random act of kindness at only 14 years old!!!!!!!! You are definitely well on your way to becoming a wonderful, giving gentleman!!!!

For those of you unfamiliar, The St Baldrick's, the mission of the foundation is to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancers. Volunteers ( Shavees such as myself and Ryan) solicit donations (that is where all you kind people come in)and attend an event to have our heads shaved bald to show our support for children undergoing treatment.

We will be participating on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the North Attleboro Fire Department, Allen St. Station At 1pm.

I have not cut my hair in many, many months and if I can figure out how to get our pictures on the website so you can have a before and after I will do so.

You can donate on line through St. Baldrick's site.
The team name again is TEAM MAGUIRE and the venue is the North Attleboro Fire Department.
BUT.............. we would really like to have your support as well there if possible.

Once we are shaved (and over the initial coldness) I invite you all back to my house for appetizers and what not.
