Make Up Air

I got a quote on a boiler install that includes a Fan In A Can. I dont have enough cubic feet in my basement to support combustion. With a powered make up air unit like this, can I put a door on the boiler room and close it off? Also, are there any better units out there than a fan in a can? This is for an 80K 3 pass.

    Yes, FIAC will allow you to close off the boiler room as many do. Tjernlund, Field and Exhausto all make systems in various types to suit you.
