parallel flow
EVH ( was ) a heavy dude for sure , but I don't think either had any bearing either way ( at least during this time ). These guys made it just because they sounded good. It kept the dream alive ( for guys like me anyway ). The whole " band thing " became something like " do good , good rewards will com "..." respect other people's ideas and do your best to support their ideas "...hell , it became a way of life. Then you get out in the real world and realize NO ONE ELSE thinks like that , LOL. Man , they were good times...( sorry , gotta raise the fist " ) ..." UP THE IRONS !!!0 -
then we had to play..
...like this

Ahh yes, Yngwie.....
what makes him unique is that many of his influences are classical, rather than the blues. You can hear a lot of Bach and other classical composers in Yngwie's music.

" skinny Yngwie " is the bomb...he got big with his success , and that is not the same guy that I remember ( playing I mean ). When he was comming up he was amazing , for sure.0 -
Channeling Hendrix on that one
here's another one, with a little Pete Townshend thrown in. I like that he actually sings this time:

On that one
he sounds a bit like Stevie Ray.

And here he is showing his semi-acoustic side....

and a duet with Ronnie Dio- sadly, they never performed it live that I know of, the video portion is a composite. Still, it's a great track- I think Ronnie and Yngwie do a better job on this than Steven and Joe did on the original ;-)

There are a couple more of these composites on YouTube....
