Did Bock Change Something?

Though I have not installed one, I remember hearing a year or so ago that Bock had stopped using their "cement" chambers and were now using a "cerafelt" chamber. This could account for the difference, check out their web site, should have the info.

Did Bock Change Something?
A friend told me that he tried to change out a Bock 32E tank only with the Wayne Burner with the fixed flange that was in the old tank. When he tried to install the burner the blast tube dimensions were different. The new tank had a different chamber material. Why after all these years would they change the chamber. One of the selling points of a Bock water heater was that you could easly use the old burner over again. If you have to buy a new burner as well as a tank you may as well buy a packaged heater from someone else to save money.0 -
