of a row house. Since it shares it's side wall with the neighboring house, there is no heat loss in that direction, just the front and back and roof. How do i tell the program not to count the heat loss in the side wall?

Use " unconditioned" for those walls. When it asks for the temp difference, I usually put it for 60 degrees on the other side. If you need to know how to get there let me know and I will open it up and walk myself/us through it.

    It's Wrightsoft software

I have the drawing program and I just upgraded. It's a little different and I need to figure this out. I've done enough row houses to know what I've put in before capacity wise. These row houses don't take much since their only exposures are front and back and ceiling. WW

What I usually do is to create another room next to the one that I am trying to get the load calc on. Then mark that room to "NO" in the "include in calculation" box in the room setup menu. That way there will be no liability for that wall on the load calc and the other room will not show up in your numbers for the job. Hope this makes sense.
