i can see it in city sewer systems, but can't see any pay back at home? the smallest hydro's I've seen for little creeks require quite a bit of water.

what would you do with the couple of watts per flush?

Generate electricity each time you flush.

    Turbine Toilets

Interesting idea. Most municipal sewage systems are at a specified minimum slope, and unless the city has a significant topographical relief any elevation lost to generate electricity would have to be made up again with a lift station. However, I could see this powering automatic flushing mechanisms and faucets.

i see where it would work well in roof top water collection

connected to downspouts , winter time it would be another snag... In Bermuda it could be installed in nearly every home.... Grey water systems and laundry mats could be another excellent utilization of the product...
  • power long enough?

Enough power or light on long enough to read while sutting on the can?.... Here's come Brad....

This would probably work well for me. Especially after a night of beer, chili and wings. OY!!!

    Poop power

When I was working in Fribourg Switzerland, we rode this sewer water powered Funicular to one of our favorite restaurants. The cabin at the top fills with water while the one at the lower level empties. Gravity works. On hot days there is no doubt it is poopy powered.
