    If you're in New England...

The PBS stations are showing a great show this weekend on the Clash.

For all us ex-punk rockers...I highly suggest watching and thinking back. For all you youngsters...All the heavy metal and Post Punk bans are STILL drawing from what the late 70's and 80's produced and the Clash was big contributors. Enjoy. Chris

I was wondering what that was.

I caught the closing credits last night.

I happen to be the biggest Clash fan that ever lived.
I don't know if I should admit this, but it has not gone unnoticed by the people around me and it's been kind of a joke for many years.

When Joe Strummer died suddenly, I got calls from people all over the place to offer me their condolences.

My wife and I were lucky enough to meet Joe at his last NYC show. He was the perfect gentleman and stood to meet us. He signed the only thing I happened to have in my pocket at the time: my MetroCard. I keep it in a frame behind glass on the center of my mantle.

    How's that for immature?

    Not ta all John

I have every concert stub I ever went to. The Clash was very cool...although I didn't follow punk. Mad Dog

Wish I had been around to catch the program. If anyone sees that it is going to be on again let me know.

I caught the Clash both nights at Shea when they opened for the Who's farewell tour. Back in 1983?

    Thanks Chris

But I checked both PBS type stations we get here and no luck. I'll have to do more research....in my spare time.
