can't get
to the slab edge?. Maybe carving out some grout and burying the sensor there, routing the wires to a wall. Possibly hiding this or doing some surgury under cabinets/fridge?0 -

I get this call often or to enhance a system and my little trick is to put the sensor under the trim molding along the floor. Here you are reading surface temps, just be careful not to put the sensor where there is a large grouping of pipes in the slab.
So just chisel out a little bit of the molding, lay the sensor on the floor and replace molding. Probably easier to replace a sensor if needed this way compared to trying to fish it down the conduit.0 -
Placement
The sensor should be located 1-2ft into the loop layout or cabling, (between the loops, not on top of a loop) if you're using electric radiant. The edges will not give as accurate a reading.
