I just finished a quote on 2 replacement 399,0000 prestige condensing boiler & braze plate heat exchanger to replace existing potable hot water boiler, copper tube type for apt. bldg, connected to 2 - 200 gals storgage tanks . This is actually 2 full systems for 2 sets of bldgs. So it's x2 above. Just looking for peoples opinion. Then heat exchanger has been designed for a close approach w/ 140 entering boiler water and 120 leaving to stay in condensing mode. Potable side is set up at 70 entering under full load and 120 leaving. Water stored at 130 to tank normally.
I know I could do this with condensing boilers designed for potable use but I just am not too excited about those boilers. Any feedback appreciated, Tim
