I visit the "mole doctor" at least twice a year.

If I had known then (young, shirtless child) what I know now, I wouldn't have to make all these visits to the skin doctor.

WHooda thunk.

    But dangerous.

    Real dangerous.

I had some ‘strange’ itching on my face and after the bride caught me scratching the same place several times, I made an appointment to see a dermatologist.

Nice enough gent, supposedly fluent in English, French, and Spanish. He asked me to take off my shirt (that’s a visual that made most of you cringe, I’m sure) and looked at my back as well as the spot on my face. He used liquid nitrogen to freeze some stuff on my face, arms, and back. He also used half of a sterile razor blade to scrape something off my face after he numbed it. The spot was right on the bone, to the lower left of my left eye.

    Skin Cancer.

He got it all fortunately. A customer that is a dermatologist told me something that I never thought of and the other doctor didn’t mention.

Put a tube or bottle of sunscreen on the counter next to your toothbrush. Make it part of your morning routine to brush your teeth and put on sunscreen on all exposed skin. That will help your skin. Put another bottle of sunscreen with moisturizer next to your wife’s toothbrush so she can use it too.

We do PM work on the equipment. We need to do that on ourselves too.

    Take care of yourselves.

    High Up In The Mountains

Mark you still would have enjoyed being shirtless in the High Rocky Mountains and gone without. Hiking on Green Mountain got you even closer to the source of all those UV rays!

Glad to hear that you are doing well with all your health issues of the last few years!

Jeff, glad that you caught or got caught by your bride before the cancer went further!!
