SEER RATINGS

I'm hoping your assumptions take hold in more areas in the country, Don. I wish that the mismatched coil issue goes by the way of the do-do bird but, I think that in the real world, the issue is going to continue to haunt us for some time.

SEER RATINGS (Eugene)
Hi Guys,
I was just away presenting some classes on the 13 SEER issue for a number of HVAC/R instructors and there is definitely a wide range of information/understanding about the whole topic.
How are you guys addressing the 13 SEER issue with your customers?
How are you explaining the new (relatively) regulations to your customers?
How are you dealing with a customer who wishes to replace the condensing unit with a new 13 SEER model while leaving the existing 10 SEER air handler in place?

Welcome back Eugene
I no longer deal with any of the issue you wish to address.
Mis-matched system are or should be a thing of the past,Also in my area anything under 15 seer is not worth pushing.
We're always hoping for customer that are looking for comfort and savings.
I'm also speaking for my area only.
Happy Easter!0
